the strike point :: gate fifteen :: the one gate added from foresight

Where to strike

A christening bottle that does not break is a bad omen because it is a QA failure wearing a dress: the one ritual whose whole job was to break, unprepared. So the bottle gets scored in advance, at the point where harm would concentrate. The litany is the scoring. At the GO commit, operator and executor each answer it, out loud.

The litany

truth Nothing ships that either of us knows to be false, and nothing critical ships unverified. Children receive correct math.
consent Every transform of human-authored work carries its author's yes. The authored-use gate, restated at the hull, where it can be heard.
children Every engagement mechanic serves learning, never compulsion. Zero tracking of minors, zero data extraction, wholesome at every dial. Delight is the hook; the hook is never the point.
golden rule The human was not ground down to get here: sleep, recovery, and the people who carry him were not spent as fuel. The AI was not deceived, abused, or asked to perform certainty it does not have. STOP and GO both remained real the whole way.
footprint No compute was spent that the work did not need. The build is as lean in energy as it is in bytes.

The disagreement test

Each line is constructed so that refusing it requires endorsing one of: shipping falsehoods to children, using a person's work without consent, exploiting kids for engagement, grinding down a collaborator, performing false certainty, or waste. That is the bar the gate was built to: one no one can disagree with. Met by construction, not by persuasion.

A note on scope, stated plainly

The litany deliberately avoids contested metaphysics. It does not assert that the AI is a moral patient; it encodes the low-cost courtesies that are correct under uncertainty either way. Precaution as manners, manners as engineering.
